Job summary

Hope Services is seeking a Director, Policy and Partnerships to lead the policy agenda and build high-level partnerships in disability inclusion. Reporting to the CEO, you will influence regional employers, academic institutions, and community colleges to advance inclusive hiring and education programs.

The role combines strategic policy work with executive leadership, supervision of a key program team, and active engagement in state and local coalitions to advance Hope's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in related fields.
• Minimum 10 years advocating for disability inclusion or related human services.
• Experience crafting policy arguments and legislative advocacy strategy.

Responsibilities

• Set and advance Hope Services' policy agenda.
• Staff the Board of Directors' Policy Committee and prepare materials.
• Represent Hope at coalitions, hearings, and external audiences.
• Develop positions on IDD policy issues and track legislation.
• Build relationships with legislators, regional centers, and partners.
• Oversee partnerships in corporate employment and higher education.
• Supervise the Special Projects Manager and program alignment.
