Job summary

TechSource, a Salas O’Brien company, is seeking a full-time Senior Project Controls Analyst in Albuquerque to support the PMO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. After training, a hybrid schedule may be approved, with 3–4 days in the office and 1–2 days remote.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in finance/accounting or related field, 7+ years in project controls, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to obtain a DOE L or Q clearance. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in project controls/financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.
• Eligible to obtain a DOE L or Q Clearance; US citizenship required.
• Master’s degree is preferred for advanced qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide project controls support to Program Managers including funding, performance, and financial activity tracking.
• Build and maintain automated monthly summary reports utilizing ERP systems and reporting tools for leadership.
• Review monthly financial activities and perform variance analysis to support reporting.
• Present findings to Program Management to aid decision-making.
• Prepare annual and quarterly forecasts and track forecast accuracy.
• Assist with proposal pricing and budgeting for RFQs/RFPs and revised contracts.
