Job summary

Prolific is seeking Operations and PMO leaders to join its Expert Network as subject matter experts. You’ll bring hands-on experience in operations, governance, portfolio management, and capacity planning, and complete a short test to assess fit.

If successful, you’ll join Prolific as a paid participant working from home. Researchers pay for your expertise, up to $200 per hour, with one-hour tasks common and many shorter.

Qualifications

• Director-level or above in an Operations/PMO function across sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Technology, Professional Services, Financial Services, Utilities or Government.
• Deep background in project governance, resource planning, portfolio management, capacity planning, or operational strategy.
• Hands-on use of planning/PPM platforms (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Exceptional written communication and attention to detail when responding to governance, planning, or portfolio questions.

Responsibilities

• Answer research questions with expert perspective on prioritisation, resource allocation, governance, and planning processes.
• Review scenarios: governance cycles, capacity reviews, milestone escalations, budget forecasting workflows.
• Participate in surveys and interviews to inform planning practices and PMO operations.
• Provide feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to planning and portfolio management.
