Job summary

You’ll engage in research-driven work including answering questions on prioritisation, resource allocation, and governance, with flexible hours and the option to work from home. Rates can reach up to $200/hour.

Qualifications

• Director-level or above in Operations or PMO across sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Technology, Professional Services, Financial Services, Utilities, or Government.
• Deep background in project governance, resource planning, portfolio management, capacity planning, or operational strategy.
• Hands-on use of planning or PPM platforms such as Microsoft Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical thinking to derive insights from complex planning workflows and portfolios.
• Exceptional written communication and attention to detail in governance, planning, or PMO topics.

Responsibilities

• Answer research questions with your expert perspective on topics like prioritisation, resource allocation, portfolio governance, and planning processes.
• Apply real-world experience to assess PMO scenarios such as governance cycles, capacity reviews, milestone escalations, and budget forecasting workflows.
• Participate in structured surveys or interviews to inform research on planning practices and PMO operations.
• Provide informed feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to planning and portfolio management in operations contexts.
• Contribute subject matter input to help research teams understand how PMO functions use and evaluate planning tools and governance frameworks.
