Job summary

Qualus in Brandon, FL seeks a Principal PMO Consultant to lead PMO design and maturation for capital programs in the utility and energy sector.

You will align PMO operating models with regulatory requirements, guide cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure delivery excellence across pre-construction to execution.

Travel to client sites is expected; a senior leadership role shaping governance, standards, and regulatory confidence across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in utility project delivery, PMO consulting, and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor on PMO strategy, governance, and delivery maturity.
• Align PMO models with regulated utility requirements, including capital planning and audit readiness.
• Lead end-to-end establishment or transformation of PMOs for capital investments and grid modernization.
• Develop PMO methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
• Define roles and decision authorities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive governance with field execution in safety-critical, infrastructure-heavy programs.
