Job summary

Framatome North America seeks a Senior Project Manager to join the PMO in Lynchburg, VA. Drive governance and best practices across a portfolio of commercial engineering projects in the nuclear power sector, while providing strategic leadership and mentoring to peers.

You will lead initiatives from initiation to close-out, manage scope, budget and quality, forecast resources, and report to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience, including 6+ years in project management.
• Experience in the nuclear power industry or related technical field is required.
• PMO experience and proficiency with MS Project or similar scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance, frameworks, templates to ensure consistency across projects.
• Oversee complex commercial projects from initiation to close-out with scope, quality and budget ownership.
• Forecast resources, allocate materials/personnel, and optimize loading across portfolios.
• Interface with stakeholders and clients; provide regular reporting.
• Mentor junior project managers and drive continuous process improvement.
• Manage project finances, invoices, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards.
