Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of related experience, CAD/FEA/CFD proficiency, NSSS repair knowledge, and familiarity with ASME code. Collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (degree variant depending on position).
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Excellent communication skills with all staff, management and customers.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; team oriented.
• Advanced problem identification and resolution skills.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong analytical ability and problem resolution skills.
• Advanced software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.
• Experience with NSSS repairs and replacement.
• Knowledgeable of primary component fabrication.
• Familiarity with ASME code.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective performance on moderately complex to complex engineering assignments.
• Plans and directs timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost centers.
• Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes adhere to policies, objectives and customer standards.
• Develops and/or administers engineering standards and procedures for the group.
• Sets goals, objectives and performance standards for assigned team members.
• Oversees development and training of team members to optimize results.
• Interacts with customers to build strong relationships.
• Researches best practices and proposes improvements.
• Works on special projects as directed.
