Job summary

Framatome is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in Lynchburg, VA, supporting licensing and development of nuclear fuel products for commercial reactors. You will collaborate with project managers and multiple engineering disciplines to drive large-scale programs from planning to execution.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of related experience, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with engineering focus.
• Experience with nuclear systems and licensing a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers and Engineering teams on large projects in support of licensing of Fuel products in Commercial Nuclear Reactors.
• Create and execute project plans.
• Coordinate status updates from multiple engineering disciplines.
• Provide updates to management.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to neutronics, safety analysis, thermal-hydraulics, or fuel rod analyses.
