Job summary

Piper Companies in Salisbury, NC seeks a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) to drive governance, analysis, and process improvement for technology initiatives. This hybrid role requires onsite work 3 days/week and close liaison with business stakeholders and leadership to ensure adherence to established methodologies.

Responsibilities include documenting charters, status reports, RAID logs, and requirements; coordinating intake and governance reviews; and supporting dashboards and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.
• Experience supporting project governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management functions.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC principles.
• Experience creating project charters, requirements documentation, process maps, and status reporting artifacts.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance processes, standards, and best practices across technology and business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including charters, status reports, RAID logs, requirements, and process workflows.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and lifecycle activities.
• Map processes, analyze workflows, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and KPIs.
• Support executive reporting through dashboards and presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to align objectives and deliverables.
• Assist with testing coordination, requirements validation, and solution reviews.
• Advocate for established PM methodologies and governance standards.
• Support initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban.
