Job summary

Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a Program Manager III in Owings Mills, MD. This hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) focuses on business readiness, portfolio governance, and executive reporting to keep strategic initiatives on track.

The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years in program/portfolio management, strong governance and risk management skills, and excellent communication within cross-functional teams. PMI/PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
5-7 years of experience in Program Management, Portfolio Management, PMO, or related roles.
Experience in financial services is strongly preferred.
Proven governance, executive reporting, risk management, and dependency tracking skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate business readiness activities for large-scale technology updates and initiatives.
Drive program and portfolio governance processes with work plans, status tracking, and executive reporting.
Consolidate and communicate status across multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to keep initiatives on track.
Facilitate collaboration between business, technology, and external partners to support delivery.
