Job summary

Nielsen is seeking a seasoned Program/PMO leader to own, scale, and optimize the global PMO ecosystem across multiple portfolios. You will govern the plan of record, drive cross-functional alignment at the VP/SVP level, and balance rigorous gated governance with operational flexibility.

The ideal candidate brings deep media-tech domain expertise, influence without authority, and a track record of delivering complex product initiatives as predictable revenue engines.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in Program Management or Product Operations in B2B tech or media tech.
• Experience building enterprise Stage-Gate/Agile NPIs across multi-product portfolios.
• Executive-level fluency across Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance.
• Mastery of Gated Agile, hybrid Stage-Gate methodologies, and software development lifecycles.
• Strong influence without authority and change-management skills.
• PgMP, PMP, SAFe SPC or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, evolve, and maintain Gracenote’s PMO playbook (Phases, Gates, Deliverables, RACI) from ideation through post-launch.
• Drive change management and enablement training across teams to ensure adoption and reduce handoff failures.
• Host and enforce cross-functional Gate Reviews (Research → Alpha → Beta → LA → GA) with objective criteria.
• Orchestrate multi-region product introductions across Video, Audio/Auto, Sports, and Core Platform domains.
• Enforce tier-based change control and maintain global RAID logs, escalation protocols, and retrospectives.
• Serve as the primary connector across Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Sales, CPX, Operations, Finance.
• Build dashboards tracking program health, milestones, and KPIs; provide updates to leadership.
• Measure post-launch success by adoption, ARR ramp, and alignment with the business case.
