Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing Inc. (GRAM) seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead technology transfer projects for new products and manage ongoing Commercial Supply and Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects on site in GRAM facilities.

The role serves as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional teams, defining scope, milestones, risks, and delivering timely project outcomes with strong documentation and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.
• 8 years of related Pharma/Biotech/Life Sciences experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint and SmartSheet.
• Experience in pharma manufacturing, laboratory, or CMC regulatory environment.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Training or education in project management or equivalent knowledge.
• Regulatory knowledge of GMPs, change control, risk management and quality by design.
• Direct PM experience with tech transfer into a sterile manufacturing facility.
• Customer-facing experience in pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for technology transfer, commercial supply, and lifecycle management (LCM) projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, and success criteria.
• Manage change controls, tech transfer plans, and project documentation.
• Oversee execution of commercial supply agreements and ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Coordinate resources and deliverables across multiple departments.
• Facilitate project meetings, agendas, action items, and meeting minutes.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and escalation.
• Provide regular project updates to customers and senior leadership.
• Identify, resolve and/or escalation issues in a timely fashion.
• Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support customer visits and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships.
• Assists with the professional development of the Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
