Job summary

E-Space, based in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a seasoned hardware program manager to drive the bus system development from early design through qualification and delivery. You will own the integrated schedule across RF, mechanical and manufacturing workstreams, maintain risk mitigations, and coordinate multiple external partners.

Applicants should have 8+ years managing hardware programs in regulated industries, strong systems engineering practice, and excellent cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing hardware development programs in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Hands-on familiarity with RF and electronic systems: PCB cycles, board bring-up, RF tests.
• Hands-on familiarity with mechanical development: machining, tolerancing, prototyping workflows.
• Proven track record running gated program lifecycles with formal reviews.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering: requirements flow-down, verification planning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast prototyping environment and keep plans coherent.
• Clear, direct communication with engineers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated program schedule across RF, mechanical, and manufacturing streams.
• Plan and run the gated lifecycle: SRR, PDR, CDR, qualification reviews with criteria.
• Maintain the risk register and drive mitigations to closure.
• Coordinate suppliers, contract manufacturers, and machine shops; manage quotes and lead times.
• Interface with systems engineering on requirements flow-down and verification planning.
• Keep design, build, and test cycles short; ensure prototypes and test articles arrive when needed.
