Job summary

SEAKR is looking for a high-energy, early to mid-career program manager to lead the design, development, test and delivery of state-of-the-art satellite electronics in the United States. The PM is empowered to deliver on time and on budget with accountability.

Responsibilities include delivering programs to schedule and budget, interfacing with customers, vendors and internal teams, guiding cross-functional teams, and managing risks and change control.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–12 years of experience desired.
• Subcontract management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver program to schedule, cost, quality and performance parameters.
• Primary interface with customer community, vendors, and internal personnel.
• Motivate and provide leadership for the broader program team.
• Manage interdepartmental requirements and resources across matrixed engineering.
• Create and maintain baseline schedules, changes logs, scope and costs.
• Develop and implement proactive risk management process.
• Lead cross-functional efforts for major program gate reviews.
• Organize and manage change control process and support negotiations.
• Experience with Earned Value Management in Cost Plus and Firm Fixed environments.
