Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager (Power Transmission Routing & Siting) to lead routing and siting solutions for electric transmission projects in California. You will work with utility staff, developers, consultants and regulators to deliver buildable routes and compliant sites.

The role combines technical leadership with client relations and team development, offering diverse projects across the Southwest region and opportunities for career growth within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 10 years related experience in linear projects (land acquisition, routing or environmental planning).
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture required.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for utility and developer infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project teams, utility staff, developers and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical documentation for route and site selection.
• Monitor project scope, schedule and budget.
• Mentor and develop junior staff to deliver client deliverables.
• Build relationships with HDR and utility staff; lead development and strategy.
