Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, Operational Readiness in Long Beach, CA to lead planning, readiness, and execution for major capital projects across MemorialCare facilities.

You will coordinate with Operations, Facilities, Construction, and clinical departments to ensure projects disrupt patient care minimally while meeting organizational goals. A PMP with Lean/Six Sigma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant project management experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• PMP preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the operational lead for major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinates project impacts across patient care areas and departments.
• Develops operational readiness and activation plans for phased construction projects.
• Leads readiness assessments and transition planning.
• Oversees swing-space, relocation, decanting, and activation strategies.
• Coordinates clinical and operational sign-offs before construction and external contractors.
• Develops executive dashboards and maintains integrated project schedules.
• Provides regular updates to executive leadership.
