Legacy Career Solutions is conducting a high-priority search for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Construction Operations Leader on behalf of a Southern California general contractor specializing in healthcare and commercial construction.

The ideal candidate has hospital construction experience, leads multiple projects, and partners with the President to guide operations, budgets, schedules, and safety compliance in occupied facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience including senior PM or operations leadership.
• Recent healthcare or hospital construction experience, preferably involving occupied facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HCAI/OSHPD requirements and hospital construction protocols.
• Experience supervising project managers, superintendents, and construction teams.
• Demonstrated success overseeing multimillion-dollar construction projects.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations across multiple healthcare and commercial projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability to project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
• Manage complex hospital renovations, tenant improvements, and occupied healthcare construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HCAI/OSHPD requirements, infection control protocols, and hospital safety procedures.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, subcontractor performance, and quality standards.
• Review project financial performance, cost projections, change orders, and profitability.
• Coordinate with hospital representatives, facility management, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage shutdown planning, construction phasing, and coordination with ongoing hospital operations.
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, contract negotiations, and project planning.
• Identify potential project risks and implement corrective action before they affect schedules or budgets.
• Maintain consistent communication with company leadership regarding project performance.
• Mentor and develop project managers and superintendents while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
