MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning to lead the budgeting, forecasting, and productivity initiatives across Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and affiliated facilities.

You will work directly with the CFO and department leaders to drive data-driven improvements, develop training, and optimize capital and financial planning processes in a dynamic health system environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years financial management experience in hospital system
• Experience preparing monthly and annual operation and capital budgets and forecasts
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of large-scale integrated data systems/ERP/budgeting and planning financial systems. PeopleSoft and Stratalazz experience preferred
• Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Leadership and management skills to motivate individuals and teams, and resolve problems in a diplomatic, professional manner
• Excellent customer service, with the ability to negotiate timelines and balance service needs in a collegial manner
• Aptitude and critical thinking skills to examine complex data needs and provide conclusions
• Superior interpersonal, communication, team-development, and consensus-building skills
• Ability to use discretion (confidentiality) with sensitive information
• Ability to be efficient and effective under time constraints, while working as a team player with staff and management

• Facilitate productivity improvement activities and lead cross-functional teams to obtain positive results.
• Establish and monitor regular reporting of performance measures and project progression.
• Develop and deliver education on productivity methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.
• Consult with department leadership to identify key projects with optimal benefit for patients and the system.
• Support the operating budget annual planning process with CFO coordination.
• Create reports to communicate financial and statistical data to stakeholders.
• Collaborate to foster a culture of engagement, accountability, innovation, and efficiency.
