Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is partnering with a century-old General Contractor in the Nashville area to hire a Project Manager (or Assistant PM) for multifamily and commercial projects starting soon.

You will lead from design through close-out, coordinating with site management and trade partners to maintain schedule, budget, and safety. Local travel is minimal, with growth opportunities and a fun, professional culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Project Management with a General Contractor/CM firm, GC experience required.
• Local subcontractor & vendor relationships in the greater TN/Southeast markets.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the construction process from design/land acquisition through buyout, scheduling to CO.
• Coordinate with Site Management Staff for seamless construction operations and issue resolution.
• Develop new sub/vendor relationships and maintain existing trade-partner relationships.
• Direct all facets of each project from pre-con to close-out, ensuring safety, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with staff, owners, and management to complete projects from trees-to-keys on schedule.
• Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously for mid-rise apartment, garden-style, and podium structures.
