Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead office infrastructure projects on site and regionally, focusing on MEP upgrades and BMS automation in occupied offices. The role acts as Owner's Representative from initiation to closeout, with a hybrid onsite schedule and about 20% regional travel.

You will oversee planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout, and work with senior clients to define scope, budgets, and schedules while guiding a team of project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PE, LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred
• Owner's Representative experience for Class A financial or professional services client and infrastructure/MEP experience required. Strong knowledge of BMS controls, building automation, and smart buildings desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of PM Web or similar project management software.
• Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources projects is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while leading multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope, resources, budget, and schedule.
• Project reporting to Project Management Director and other leaders.
• Coach other Project Managers to develop depth of knowledge across the function.
• Define resources from pre-qualified lists or RFPs, conduct bid evaluations, and recommend resources.
• Ensure on-schedule delivery and resolve or escalate issues.
• Facilitate regular status meetings for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the team through implementation.
• Apply advanced knowledge to improve methods and outcomes across the department.

Education

Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

PE/LEED AP/PMP/CCM certifications preferred
