Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Manager Project Management 3 in Palmdale, CA. This leadership role supports the Manufacturing Affordability team, driving operational efficiency, training, and strategic resource planning.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to present to executives and cross-functional teams. A DoD clearance is required or obtainable, with relocation assistance possibly available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years in Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and/or Project Management; Master’s degree with 5+ years acceptable.
• Must have 3 years of management experience.
• Active DoD clearance and ability to obtain (PAR) within a reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Support sector compliance requirements, training initiatives, and workforce development.
• Coordinate budget allocations, resource forecasting, and staffing requirements.
• Lead issue resolution to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering Director on forecasting staffing and tools.
• Manage grants, apprenticeships, and external workforce partnerships.
• Drive strategic planning and process improvements across initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders to drive project execution and measurable outcomes.
• Align day-to-day objectives with organizational goals.
