Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) is seeking a Senior Principal Operations Project Manager in Annapolis, MD.

This is an individual contributor role focused on driving manufacturing programs, coordinating across PMO, engineering, and supply chain to meet cost and schedule targets. The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management and manufacturing experience (bachelor required; master preferred).
• PM experience across manufacturing environments and programs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP and the MRP process including dependent requirements and transfers.
• Experience with EVMS and CAM and with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interfaces between PMO, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, MA, SCM, Engineering and Shipping.
• Achieve targeted cost and schedule requirements.
• Report Manufacturing Operations status to PM, Sector executives and customers.
• Ensure resources are available to execute programs and manage allocations.
• Lead cross-functional teams; articulate goals and priorities to staff.
• Build effective relationships and work with engineering in a fast-paced environment.
• Facilitate internal design, production and problem-resolution meetings.
• Lead or participate on a product team for requirements analysis, engineering, manufacturing and tracking.
• Represent manufacturing at the program Risk Review Board and manage risks.
• Support and generate proposal documentation as needed.
