Job summary

Archinect in New York, NY seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead high-end, classical residential projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure detailed documentation across all phases.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, 10+ years in luxury traditional design, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, and strong verbal and written communication. Licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited school.
• Experience with high-end classical and traditional residential projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction document production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hand sketching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional licensure is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution of one or more active projects, through all phases
• Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects
• Support and contribute to design development
• Coordinate consultants and internal teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Monitor fee performance and the overall financial health of each project
• Prepare monthly invoices and accompanying cover letters
• Oversee the production of construction documents
• Maintain project records and documentation systems
• Participate in site visits and construction administration
• Assign and supervise team tasks
• Foster professional growth within the team through mentorship and feedback
