Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management for Development Test Operations to lead a team of PMs embedded with engineering groups. You will set the program vision, governance, and standards to deliver reliable, scalable testing programs across lane, track, and road testing.

You will coach and develop the PM team, ensure clear timelines and escalations, and drive cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering and Planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Program Management or Technical Operations.
• 5+ years directly leading a team of PMs.
• Experience standardizing reporting and operating cadences.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic planning and vision for the PM team, plus governance and standards.
• Coach and develop a team of Program Managers with consistent operating norms.
• Oversee program-level planning across engineering areas (lane/test/road testing) with clear scope and timelines.
• Ensure PMs are single points of contact for their engineering areas and manage escalation paths.
• Manage resources, budget, and track dependencies.
• Communicate test program risks and mitigations to stakeholders.
• Review QA trends and drive root-cause improvements, closing feedback loops with Engineering and Operations.
• Drive standardized workflows, metrics, and weekly reporting cadence.
