Aurora is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Test Execution (Weekend) to provide on-site weekend coverage across Development Testing Operations. You will serve as the first line of defense for test execution questions and escalate as needed, coordinating with Engineering, Safety, and Leadership.

This role embraces irregular-operations playbooks, making real-time decisions, and building continuity for the weekday team. Hybrid work is required, with in-office presence Thursday through Monday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Program/Project Management, Product Operations, or related roles.
• Ability to operate independently with limited real-time leadership access.
• Experience across multiple engineering/test workstreams.
• Understand hardware/software interactions affecting vehicle behavior.
• Strong written and verbal communication with escalation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the direct escalation point for PM workstreams during weekend coverage.
• Own and execute pre-built response playbooks and flag gaps to weekday teams.
• Operate within a decision-authority matrix for solo or leadership escalation.
• Make real-time resource substitutions to keep weekend plans on track.
• Support test execution questions across all engineering areas covered.
• Review plan vs. execution and author weekly status reports.
• Recommend pivots for upcoming weeks based on results and changes.
• Maintain documentation of weekend decisions for continuity.
