Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a PMI Manager to lead the Project Management and Integration subdivision. You will partner across Capital Projects to provide strategic direction, drive work planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and communications for SFHP, NEAP, and IIER.

The role demands leadership to develop a project management culture, collaboration with senior Naval Reactors personnel, and mentoring to prepare future leaders in a large design/construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and previous management experience.
• Or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and prior management.
• Experience with large design/construction projects and project management knowledge.
• Clear communication skills for presenting to senior and executive management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project management systems and processes for SFHP, NEAP and IIER.
• Provide strategic direction and support for all projects that recapitalize ECF; drive planning and budget outputs.
• Engage with Reactor Servicing and Technology DMOs as well as other DMOs on strategic decisions.
• Lead and mentor SFHP personnel to advance the department and organizational goals.
