Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, based in El Segundo, CA. The role includes mentoring APMs/PMs, guiding teams on $5M–$30M jobs, and ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractor performance while building strong client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
• Experience leading and developing PMs/APMs and project teams.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Projects ranging from $5M–$30M.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers for portfolios of 5–8 active projects.
• Provide executive-level oversight on projects valued $5M–$30M.
• Mentor APMs and PMs to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.
• Maintain visibility across portfolio and identify risks, resource needs, and challenges.
• Guide projects through full lifecycle: preconstruction to closeout, including budgets and schedules.
• Build strong client relationships and support negotiations and change management.
