Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Commercial Construction in its Advanced Manufacturing division. You will oversee projects from discovery and design through development and implementation, manage safety and schedules, and negotiate contracts with clients.

The role requires a strong track record with a commercial general contractor, the ability to secure new business, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business (preferred; additional work experience acceptable).
• Has successfully acquired and/or contacted at least one new client.
• Ability to execute multiple project management efforts; proficient in the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adherence to safety standards.
• Ensures all job processes follow company policies.
• Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
• Monitors project progress with updated schedules.
• Ensures the Project Quality Control Plan is followed.
• Assists staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors.
• Assigns and evaluates field personnel within the project team.
• Identifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowed.
• Acquires new work and maintains existing clients.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors.
• Ensures timely completion of closeout processes.
• Leads preconstruction and RFP package efforts with Preconstruction Department.
