Job summary

J+H Automation Solutions seeks a Senior Project Manager to deliver complex industrial automation projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to meet scope, timeline, and budget, while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities include leading kickoff, developing schedules, tracking costs, managing risks, and ensuring successful project acceptance at customer sites. Travel within the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or engineering technology.
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial automation, custom machinery, or material handling.
• Proven history of managing personnel and multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from contract award through design, build, installation, startup, and closeout; develop schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and field resources to meet schedule and budget.
• Serve as primary customer contact and oversee Field Service and Installation teams at client facilities.
• Prepare project quotes and cost estimates to support sales; manage change orders and project risks.
• Ensure project closeout includes final documentation, customer sign-off, and billing milestones.
• Oversee testing, startup, and acceptance of electrical and mechanical systems; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
