Job summary

MAAS is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Sacramento to oversee the District’s capital design and construction from design to DSA close-out, ensuring goals are met and compliance. This on-site role mentors Project and Construction Managers and coordinates multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have Progressive Design Build delivery experience, 7–10 years in public-sector or K-12 construction, and a relevant bachelor's degree; certification like CCM or PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressive Design Build delivery experience.
• 7–10 years managing public-sector or K-12 construction.
• Working knowledge of public-agency rules: bond funding, bidding, prevailing wage, and DSA review.

Responsibilities

• Oversee district capital design and construction from design to DSA close-out.
• Lead project–team meetings; monitor scope, schedule, and budget goals.
• Coordinate design, bid, and construction phases including constructability reviews and value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies; mentor Project/Construction Managers.
• Prepare reports and manage communications with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
