Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor.
• Direct experience with DSA and/or OSHPD on education projects.
• K-12 project delivery in hard bid or lease-leaseback formats.
• Strong knowledge of California building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contract administration with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in risk management, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Site safety enforcement and compliance.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall management of multiple construction projects.
• Supervise, train, coach, and mentor project teams to achieve high performance.
• Provide regular feedback and staff performance reviews on schedule.
• Administer all project contracts and subcontracts per requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Develop and communicate master project schedules and manage their implementation.
• Administer hard bid and lease-leaseback projects, especially K-12 education.
• Collaborate with pre-construction teams on new projects.
• Maintain information flow and documentation across stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and financials with accurate tracking and targets.
• Prepare and review financial status reports and oversee pay apps.
• Provide leadership in risk assessment, change orders, and disputes.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure site compliance.
• Oversee field operations, engineering, and construction processes.
• Ensure timely completion and quality delivery of milestones.
• Keep senior management informed through reporting and reviews.
