Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager, Client Connectivity to lead end-to-end change initiatives for Global Payments Solutions. Based in Chicago or Buffalo, you will coordinate with business, technology and partners to deliver complex connectivity programs with strong governance and post-launch reliability.

The role requires proven financial services systems integration expertise and PMP/PRINCE2/Agile credentials or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems implementation and integration within financial services.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Certification in project delivery (PMP/PRINCE2 Agile) or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication with clients and senior leaders, with transparent status reporting.
• Experience across US and global teams and cross-border coordination.
• Knowledge of US compliance, data privacy and security practices through the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of client change initiatives across planning, execution, risk and issue management.
• Partner with business units and clients to gather requirements, define scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and status reporting for clients and stakeholders.
• Run user training sessions and create supporting documentation to support adoption.
• Oversee setup and onboarding of new financial products and client connectivity solutions.
• Coordinate delivery across global and US-based teams as a central client contact.
• Design and execute system integration approaches across internal systems and third-party platforms including SWIFT and ISO 20022 APIs.
• Manage testing of payment and receivables files and coordinate outcomes across regions.
• Resolve technical integration issues with IT vendors while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Monitor and optimize file and connectivity performance post-launch.
