Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico seeks a Sr Advanced Project Management Engineer to lead technical projects aimed at reducing repair turnaround time and improving output. You will report to the Director of Engineering and begin onsite for 90 days before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.

The role partners with site engineering leaders to analyze data, develop robust action plans, and drive improvements across R&O operations, ensuring value is delivered to Honeywell's

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing engineering projects
• Experience with New product introduction and transitions
• Experience with capital projects and vendor interactions
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• 3+ years interpersonal and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage and execute initiatives to improve R&O KPIs (TAT, output, cost to serve, FPY)
• Assess network needs and analyze modernization opportunities for capital equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize processes
• Develop MOS for tracking equipment use and downtime
• Drive capacity planning to optimize test and support equipment
• Lead efforts to improve aftermarket value and cost performance
• Coordinate with procurement and commodity managers to reach objectives
• Conduct workshops and product line deep dives for productivity improvements
• Develop milestones, estimates and cost-reduction plans
• Manage risk and opportunity and oversee project performance and VE
