Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer – Integrated Systems to join the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project. You will lead system requirements development, integrate complex avionics subsystems, and drive verification and validation efforts.

The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager, with 90 days onsite before transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3/2). Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 5+ years in systems engineering or project leadership in Avionics, Flight Management, or Flight Guidance.
• 3+ years in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years in advanced systems engineering technologies.
• Strong avionics and lifecycle knowledge.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Lead system requirements development and decomposition.
• Influence architecture and design trade studies.
• Own integration of complex avionics subsystems.
• Lead verification and validation activities.
• Drive system-level issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior systems engineers.
