Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain software for our aerospace applications. You will join a team delivering high-quality software across commercial, defense, and space programs.

You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and start onsite with a 90-day path to hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote); travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; strong software testing experience.
• 2+ years of embedded real-time software development experience.
• 2+ years of C/C++ and Python development experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop verification plans.
• Develop, execute, and debug tests.
• Review requirements and tests.
• Support DO-178 / V&V processes.
• Assist in deploying new test methodologies.
• Provide verification deliverables to the program lead.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment.
