Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, Electric Utility Distribution to join our Electric Distribution Team in Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX.

You will oversee projects that enhance reliability, resiliency, and sustainability of electric distribution systems, guiding upgrades, expansions, and storm-hardening efforts for communities. The role emphasizes seller/doer responsibilities, leadership of project managers, and collaboration with clients to deliver value across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 8 years of project management experience.
• PE license or PMP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, contracts, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of electric distribution project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships.
• Develop work with specific clients and lead marketing plan development for target markets.
• Lead and mentor other Project Managers and support team growth.
• Prepare proposals, project plans, and closeout documents.
• Track multiple projects ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Interpret contracts and manage client relationships.
