Job summary

United Utility Services in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Distribution Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver utility distribution construction projects. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires coordinating with operations, engineering, and customers, maintaining strong relationships, reviewing contracts, and reporting project status to leadership. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in utility construction or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and customer expectations.
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple distribution construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and profitability.
• Coordinate project resources, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
• Lead project planning meetings and ongoing progress reviews.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to scope, quality, and safety standards.
• Review contracts, project scope documents, work orders, and change orders.
• Prepare and present project status updates to customers and company leadership.
