Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Senior Project Manager to support large-scale, mission-critical construction projects in Birmingham, AL. The role requires on-site collaboration with client offices and frequent travel to the project sites.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience and is proficient with Procore and MS Office tools. On-site presence and flexibility to meet client needs are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction/engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency with Procore and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders to deliver compliant projects.
• Track critical milestones to avoid schedule slips.
• Ensure project governance, processes, and systems are used effectively.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor multiple projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Interface management between suppliers via trackers and reviews.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, GCs and regional stakeholders.
• Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
• Assist in cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
• Develop strong client relationships to maximize opportunities.
• Share strategic thinking to align project and business objectives.
• Capture key learnings from each project and drive process improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience
