Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Senior Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. The role focuses on supporting large-scale construction projects with strong governance and stakeholder management.

You will lead interfaces with architects, engineers, and suppliers; manage milestones; produce status reports; and ensure compliance with design standards while applying best practices. On-site presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE or related field.
• 5–7 years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore.
• On-site presence may be required.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze and track critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips.
• Ensure governance, processes and systems are applied.
• Produce formal project status reports.
• Monitor multiple projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Coordinate suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, and contractors.
• Respond to RFIs promptly.
• Apply cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
• Review status reports, drawings, timelines and costs.
• Develop relationships with clients to maximize opportunities.
• Offer strategic input to achieve client and business objectives.
• Capture key learnings and drive process improvements.
