Job summary

EPAM Systems in McLean, VA, is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Applied AI to own the vision, strategy, roadmap and delivery of one or more AI-powered products across the lifecycle.

The role centers on applying AI in product management, defining requirements for AI features, coordinating with engineering, data and design teams, mentoring other PMs, and communicating risks and value to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management, end-to-end ownership including post-launch maintenance.
• Launched at least one AI-powered product or feature (GenAI, ML, recommendations, search, automation).
• Ownership of strategy, vision and roadmap with AI value justification.
• Experience owning backlogs, dependencies and release cycles.
• Understanding of product profitability, pricing and AI feature economics.
• Ability to influence stakeholders up to VP level and lead product launches.
• Experience guiding Product Owners/Managers across a product line.
• Daily use of AI across discovery, analysis, documentation, and roadmaps with verification.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, roadmap and end-to-end delivery of AI-powered products.
• Define requirements for AI features with guardrails and human-in-the-loop criteria.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve product, CX, and business outcomes.
• Use AI tools across discovery, research, analysis, documentation and planning with verification.
• Prioritize features, manage backlog and release cycles with AI-assisted support.
• Manage full product lifecycle including AI feature versioning and oversight.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, design and AI/ML teams, translating intent into actionable requirements.
• Set expectations with clients and stakeholders about AI capabilities, risks and benefits.
• Mentor Product Managers and raise the team's practical AI capability.
