This hands-on leadership role requires balancing technical expertise with business acumen, overseeing scheduling, training, budgeting, and customer relations while driving growth through maintenance and service contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing management experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the plumbing trade.
• Proven ability to lead and develop service technicians.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and sales capabilities.
• Willing to work nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Plumbing Service Department.
• Schedule, manage, and support service technicians based on workload and customer requirements.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate technicians.
• Oversee plumbing repair, installation, startup, troubleshooting, and service activities.
• Review completed work to ensure quality, safety, and technical standards are consistently met.
• Establish technician performance expectations and improvement goals.
• Develop and maintain ongoing technical and safety training programs.
• Conduct team meetings and performance discussions.
