Job summary

SE&M is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Supervisor to oversee and coordinate plumbing projects, assisting the project manager with safety, quality, and efficiency requirements. This role involves mobilizing new projects, procuring materials, and guidingfield teams on complex industrial plumbing systems.

You will lead crews, interpret blueprints, ensure NC codes compliance, and maintain records. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing plumbing projects for industrial, pharmaceutical, and heavy commercial industries.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NC Plumbing Codes and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with teams.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage fast-paced projects.
• Experience operating heavy machinery or the ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight and coordination of assigned plumbing projects with the project manager.
• Mobilize new projects and demobilize completed ones.
• Field procurement of materials to meet specifications.
• Manage rental equipment needs for piping projects.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in industrial settings.
• Layout and install underground/above-ground piping and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor plumbing staff; coordinate with crews and subcontractors.
• Maintain as-built records and test documentation; conduct safety audits.
