Job summary

SE&M is seeking a motivated team member in North Carolina to support mechanical and plumbing construction projects. You will assist the Project Manager with safety, quality, and efficiency requirements, help procure materials and subcontracts, and conduct regular quality control and safety audits.

You will forecast costs and manpower, manage submittals and RFIs, coordinate rental equipment, and maintain project records while building strong relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Familiarity with Trimble & Quote Soft or quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Support PM in safety, quality, and efficiency oversight for mechanical & plumbing projects.
• Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracts per specs.
• Conduct quality control walkdowns and safety audits on projects.
• Forecast costs and manpower with PM for assigned projects.
• Attend weekly manpower meetings to plan upcoming weeks.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, correspondence, and change orders.
• Coordinate and track rental equipment on site.
• Maintain project records and ensure documentation is secure.
• Develop relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support field teams and attend job-site meetings.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
