Job summary

Modigent is seeking a General Superintendent - Plumbing to provide senior leadership for HVAC installation teams across multiple commercial projects nationwide. You will manage superintendents, foremen, and technicians, drive safety, quality, and profitability, and coordinate with operations leadership to forecast labor and uphold code-compliant mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical installation.
• 5+ years in supervisory/leadership roles managing trade teams and multi-project oversight.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; OSHA 30-hour preferred; EPA 608 if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trade labor allocation to meet schedule and quality goals across projects.
• Direct safety, quality, scheduling, and material control activities and client communication.
• Develop labor reports, forecasting, and performance metrics for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, budgets, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Lead project planning, coordination, sequencing, and labor utilization with operations.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team; drive continuous improvement and site inspections.
• Maintain accurate crew time, toolbox talks, production, and schedule projections.
