Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will work with engineers and designers on field investigations, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

You will be responsible for schedule and technical quality, collaborating with a multi-discipline team to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years of experience designing Plumbing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for Plumbing systems.
• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop the design criteria for Plumbing systems.
• Layout and design Plumbing systems (sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, roof drainage).
• Develop final design documents with associated specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
