Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team in the Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will work on field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages for heavy industrial clients.

You’ll manage the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience designing Plumbing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for Plumbing design.
• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other disciplines remotely.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
• Software experience in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for Plumbing systems.
• Layout and design of Plumbing systems (sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, roof drainage).
• Develop final design documents and associated specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
