Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will work with engineers and designers on field investigations, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

At least eight years in plumbing design, knowledge of codes, a Bachelor of Science, and ability to lead a multi-discipline team are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of plumbing design experience.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, deadline-driven teams.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate with other disciplines remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for Plumbing systems.
• Layout and design plumbing systems: sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
• Create final design documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
