Jacobs in the United States seeks a Plumbing Engineer for the Building Mechanical team to deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

You’ll lead schedule and technical quality on challenging projects, collaborating with multi-discipline teams to meet client expectations within flexible hybrid and onsite work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in plumbing system design.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Ability to lead within a fast-paced team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for plumbing systems.
• Layout and design plumbing systems (sanitary, process sewer, potable water, gas, roof drainage).
• Develop final design documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
