Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Plumbing Engineer for our Building Mechanical team within the Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will perform field investigations, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages for heavy industrial clients, coordinating with engineers and vendors.

You’ll manage schedules, ensure technical quality, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of Plumbing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems.
• Bachelor of Science Degree

Responsibilities

• Develop plumbing system design criteria and finalize design documents.
• Layout and design of Plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and clients/vendors.
