Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. in the United States is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team.

You will design plumbing systems (sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, gas, roof drainage), develop design criteria, and produce final specifications while coordinating with other disciplines. Bring eight+ years of plumbing design experience, a BS degree, knowledge of codes, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years of experience in the design of Plumbing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems.
• Bachelor of Science Degree
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.

Responsibilities

• Development of the design criteria for the Plumbing systems.
• Layout and design of Plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
• Development of final design documents including specifications associated with these systems.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
